WeChall
Todays Account Linking
aeqwa linked his/her account to OverTheWire.org with 19.30% solved.
I am happy to announce...!
A new site is joining the wechall network.
HackMyVM got founded around 2020 from a spanish man called sML.
It is quite community driven and offers various challenges online, as well as some downloadable virtual machine images to crack, exploit, jailbreak and explore.
It is noteworthy, that this might be the first site with jailbreaking a VM, so we introduced a new category "Docker".
In total, 363 challenges are available on the platform and i very welcome them!
Happy Challenging!

Dear Challengers,
We are happy to announce: A new site has joined the WeChall network.
pwn.college is from America(tempe, arizona). It was created in late 2018 but at the start
it was just tcp based and it took a couple of years for it to have the proper interface that you see today.
pwn.college was created by Zardus (Yan Shoshitaishvili) and kanak (Connor Nelson) at Arizona State University.
It powers ASU’s Introduction to Cybersecurity (CSE 365) and Computer Systems Security (CSE 466) courses, and is open, for free, to participation for interested people around the world!
The site is about learning cyber security concepts in a very very hands on manner, you have actual instances which are completely free, lecture videos about the concepts, an active discord community and a ton of other goodies.
The site is AFAIK a passion project of yan who uses it for a number of computer security courses at ASU.
I welcome them with a

Dear Challengers,
I am happy to announce that a new site has joined the wechall network.
PromptRiddle is from Brazil and it seems to be in english.
I did not check out the site much, but the name is clever. It even has a prompt theme and soundtrack.
The challenge categories shall be Crypto, Stegano and Logic whereas 57 challenges are available.
In the beginning it really looks more like a puzzle/riddle side, not that techy so far... but this seems to change later on.
The authors want to add this in the news:
The game has a hackish-theme and is based on a computer terminal emulator.
The player is in constant communication with Cyber, the fictional main
character of Promptriddle. The passwords are usually encrypted in physical
resources, like in images, in texts and/or in audios. Promptriddle is still
growing and has currently 57 levels online. Each level may be independent
or not from the previous ones.
In the name of Daniel Bentes Ferreira, Eduardo Dadalto Câmara Gomes and Leonardo Cesar Wolter
we all wish you...

Another site from France just joined the WeChall network. If you like to be challenged with computer science problems, you should check out this site: PyDéfis
And by the way, this is your chance to polish up your French, because that's the site's only language.

New Site: Can You Hack It?®
Apparently Assured Information Security (AIS) is looking for hackers. Not sure they can find any good ones here if I have to go by the number of solvers of The BrownOS, but hey, who knows?
In any case, they made a challenge site: Can You Hack It?®
Currently there is no support for linking to WeChall, but you do get an account id to keep track of your progress yourself.

Another site has been put into the wechall rankings.
The site is https://247ctf.com/ which is brand new and makes a solid impression.
The author told us the following.
Quote from "two47CTF"
I enjoy playing CTF challenges, but often found that I was not available in
the short time period that the CTF was open (usually a weekend). I also
found that often times people would unintentionally (or intentionally)
break a challenge either during or after solving it. I also don't enjoy
enumeration during a CTF, I prefer a straight forward problem to which you
need to solve. As a solution to these frustrations, I created 247CTF which
is a CTF platform that does not have an end date, nor does it have
challenge sharing between different players (each challenge instance is
unique per user), nor is significant enumeration required.
I set a basescore of 10000 and we all wish you a

New Site: Énigmes À Thématiques
Time to learn French if you don't know it already: a new site has joined. It's called Énigmes À Thématiques and has challenges in many topics. Get your vin, baguette and other stereotypes and throw them away because you don't have time for that nonsense with this many new challenges.
Bonne Énigmer!(?)

A new site has joined and is scored now.
LordofSQLi is a new site from South Korea, created in summer 2018 and is focused on SQL injection.
The database systems to exploit vary; mysql, sqlite, mssql, mongodb, ... and there are also some web application firewalls to keep you entertained.
The currently 49 challenges are in english and the overall site seems slim and fast.
The author rubiya created the site to make developers more aware of SQL injections, but i assume he does also like exploits.
We wanna welcome the Lords with a...
