The lag is much better today.

There is something else that has me concerned as well. When I ssh into one of the levels, I get a message saying that I've already solved the challenge. (It is the same message I get when ssh-ing into level0, which I did just to check.) I have notes for all of the earlier levels but not that one and I'm pretty sure I never solved it. I think that is where stopped when I was playing the site. I guess if I can't find notes or code somewhere I'll have to try to contact the admin, or maybe I'll solve/resolve(?) first and see if the problem recurs with the next level.

The lag isn't going to ever get much better. It's running on a shared connection with the rest of my network. The message about already beating a level means that it has already been added to your account and won't be added to the list of challenges beaten. I guess I'll change to wording to something less confusing?

Yes please. If I understand you right, that message is very confusing.

Looks like it's down again. (Since at least last week, I think.)

Site is working but the redirection seems to be broken.
"index" URL is http://hack.thebackupbox.net/cgi-bin/pageview.cgi
Maybe it would be useful to change it in wechall site links ;-)

Although it would be probably better to just fix the redirection... ;)

Anyway, at this moment the site is completely unresponsive. Perhaps it is the sudden rush of challengers visiting the site, but as this is what I experienced last week I suspect a more structural problem.
